Growing the fan base
CHALLENGE
Expand the product line of Tervis Tumbler by entering adjacent categories (water bottles & sippy cups, Jr cup lids).
APPROACH
Throughout each of these initiatives we immersed ourselves in understanding the category, trends, developmental stages, daily routines, etc., to mine insights. As we developed line extensions, we needed to create enticing products who’s benefits were self evident, while retaining enough of the brands DNA to be instantly recognizable. We made sure elements like the rings, double walled clarity and the playful nature of Tervis always came through.
IMPACT
The Sippy Cups sold more than a quarter-million cups in less than 10 months on the market. The water bottle has been a consistent seller for over a decade.
